A Hero Down: SEAL Team 6 Veteran Fighting for His Life After Tragic Florida Crash
LAKE WALES, FL — For years, Michael “Mikey” Owings lived in the shadows, putting his life on the line as a member of the legendary SEAL Team 6. He survived the world’s most dangerous combat zones to ensure American freedom. But on February 4, 2026, the man who survived the unthinkable was nearly taken out by a catastrophic five-car accident just a half-mile from his own front door. The collision on Route 60 involved eleven people and claimed four lives at the scene. Mikey was airlifted in critical condition and has already endured four grueling surgeries. He currently remains in a fight for his life… this time, on home soil.

Guitar honors fallen American hero and Medal of Honor recipient, Navy SEAL MA2 Michael Monsoor.
Auction proceeds of this magnificent instrument were split evenly between two crucial beneficiaries:

America's Mighty Warriors is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of troops, veterans, and their families by providing support programs that improve their quality of life, resiliency, and recovery.
MA2 Monsoor was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his selfless actions in Ramadi, Iraq, in 2006, when he threw himself onto a grenade to save the lives of his fellow SEALs. The donated "Greeny" guitar bears special appointments recognizing Monsoor’s unparalleled heroism and sacrifice, making it a unique collector's item with profound historical significance.
Since 1985, the Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida has been preserving the history and heritage of Navy SEALs and their predecessors on the original training grounds of the Navy combat divers. From humble beginnings, the Museum has experienced tremendous growth, achieving national stature in 2007, and opening a sister location in San Diego, California in 2025. The mission of the National Navy SEAL Museum is to promote public education by providing the opportunity to explore Naval Special Warfare history through interactive exhibits, honor the fallen at the Navy SEAL Memorial, and care for the families of Special Operators through the Trident House Charities Program.
Our mission is to raise crucial funds for our nation's heroes, specifically U.S. Combat Veterans, Special Forces Operators and Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients, their surviving families and dedicated support agencies, by curating, customizing and auctioning World Class, Custom Shop, electric guitar packages. Knowing true freedom resonates deepest when we uplift those who defended our freedom, we have combined our passion for music, guitars, and service, into an organization with a unique method of raising vital financial support for Veterans.
